Mariachi

Well i guess ill be telling you about Mariachi. A mariachi can be a musician or a group that plays mexican music. I have been involved with it for a while now, a couple of years. A mariachi group has various instruments such as violins, guitars, guitarons, trumpets, vihuela, and harp. I play the vihuela, guitarron, and guitar. The mariachi group that i am in is called Mariachi Juvenil De Mi Tierra. We have practice three times a week. We usually have practice for an hr and a half. Fridays practice usually like three hours long it just depends on what we have going on or what we need to accomplish for the following week! We are currently getting ready for our second annual event where we will perform with other dance groups and have a show at the nampa civic center. We plan on having over 600 people attend the event so we have to practice a lot more so we are completely ready for the event. We also got new suits recently just in time for the event and are excited to show our improvement from a year ago along with our brand new suits.
